Show Me What You Eat

The food you eat on a regular basis is very important. Do you eat the types of foods that make you stronger, healthier and make your body work at an optimal level? Or do you eat foods that make you feel bloated, sluggish, and wanting to sleep.

The healthier your diet, the less stress you’ll have. Don’t believe me though. Try it out for yourself. Cut out sugar, cut out excess carbs. Up your healthy fats intake, up your protein intake. Watch what happens. You start feeling better, your mental fog disappears and you stress vanishes.

On top of that make sure you drink a lot of water and aren’t overeating. It’s really quite simple. Eat healthy foods, don’t eat sugar no matter what, drink lots of water.

Show Me Who You Hang With

A lot of people hang out with assholes who make their lives more miserable. Don’t be one of them. Doesn’t matter how long you’ve know the person. If they give you stress or make your life more difficult, get rid of them.

Hang out with people who make you laugh, people who are good to you and people who enjoy your company.

Avoid the unhappy, avoid the unlucky and avoid the people who are constantly complaining. There’s a simple way to find out if you should continue hanging out with people.

Just watch your energy level. How do you feel after being with them? Do you feel worse off? Is your energy the same? Did your energy go higher? The better you feel after hanging with someone, the less likely they will be to bring you stress.

Avoiding people who bring your energy down, seek out people who raise your energy up.

Show Me What You Do

What types of activities do you do? Do you spend most of your time gossiping, going to a job you hate, watching depressing shows on tv? How you spend your time is a big cursor in how you you feel.

If you spend your time on unproductive activities you hate, a job you can’t stand, and watching mindless stuff on TV you are going to be depressed. There is no way around it. You’re just alive, you’re not living.

If I asked you, if you died and can come back as anyone you want in the world, who would you pick? If the answer is not yourself, you have some work to do until you can confidently answer that you’d rather come back as yourself.

The actions you do are a reflection of your current state of mind. Change your state of mind and your actions change. Or you can also change your actions and your state of mind will change.

Depressions sets in when your stagnating in life. It sets in when your life has gotten boring. Depression can be easily beaten by you.

You don’t need to take any medication or go on fancy retreats in the islands to cure it. All you need to do is take care of yourself and live a life worth living.
