Hello friend,

Anyone who’s been alive passed the age of seventeen is already aware of how cut throat the world is. As magnificent and wonderful the world is, it’s still full of suffering, misery and people who are doing everything they can to take you down. With all sorts of things coming at you at all times, you need to find a way to cope with it all to survive. This post today will tackle that topic. So… Whatcha gonna do with it?

The Ugly

No matter what you do, you’ve have to avoid doing the following or it will turn ugly. So ugly your whole world will be painted over in darkness. So so ugly, you might lose your humanity in the process.

Energy is in a constant motion. The energy that comes into you, and the energy that comes from within you. They are both in a state of constant motion.

The ugly situation arises when you keep them all bottled up inside. Instead of letting the energy keep flowing in and out, you decide that you don’t like the current energy so you try your best to suppress it. You do everything you can to push it back down for whatever reason.

Maybe the energy is making you relive a traumatic experience you haven’t processed yet. Maybe the energy is making you think in a way that you feel you are not. What ever it is, instead of letting it flow in and out. You’re trying hard to suppress it.

This has the effect of making you stagnate on that current energy. There is no place for other energies to rise up when you’re blocking the passage by holding on to a bunch of rubbish.

Once you do this, you stagnate. You stop growing. You start dying. Your whole world becomes clouded with the energy you’re trying to suppress down. Never try to suppress the momentum of energy. You don’t have what it takes to do that. Nobody does.

The only way you can get out of this predicament is by processing those emotions. Feeling them completely. Accepting them completely. And finally letting them go. Only once you do that, can the cycle be broken. Only once you do that can the momentum of energy start flowing again.

This is what brings you back from the dead into the world of the living.

When you’re faced with powerful negative emotions, whatcha gonna do with it? You’re going to process them, accept them and then release them to make way for better emotions.

The Bad

Sometimes we don’t even try and push down the emotions that are stopping us from moving forward. We embrace those emotions. We wear them on as armor. At times we even believe we were born with that armor. So in this case, we usually channel that energy in negative directions.

We start engaging in degenerate behavior because we believe that’s the way we’re supposed to be. We engage in degenerate behavior because it gives up a momentary escape of the heavy weights of these emotions that we carry.

We tattoo our whole bodies to run away from it. We develop drinking habits. We become heavy chain smokers. We turn to soothing our pain with an over indulgence in food. We numb our sensations by watching porn on top of porn on top of more filthy porn. Everything we can do to escape the heavy burden of emotions we carry, even if temporarily by trading in our healthy and vitality, we will do.

This never ends well. We are using the energy we get from those emotions in detrimental ways. We’ve never been taught how to handle such emotions in the first place. We’re navigating a complex situation with no map at all.

It’s all free-styling.

Well I’m here to tell you, there’s a better way. There’s a much better way to handle all the energy we get from these emotions. Even the really bad ones. As a matter of fact, those bad ones carry with them a lot of strength. Which is why you can notice that the people who have suffered the most tend to engage in more degenerate and harmful behavior. Their level of suffering has been so high, the only way they can find any release is by subjecting themselves to very intense experiences that out-weight what they’ve gone through.

There’s a better way of channeling those emotions.

The Good

The best way to channel all of those built up emotions no matter what they are is to channel them into an artistic pursuit. Grab a musical instrument and jam-out. Grab a paint brush and Picasso-out. Grab a camera and Abdoulaye-out. Hit up the dance floor and moonwalk like a beast.

The best way to channel those emotions is into a physical pursuit. Grab a basketball and go crossing up people on the court. Grab a soccer ball and score goals with your eyes closed. Hit the gym up and develop a physic that would make the gods of Olympus jealous.

You’ve clearly noticed the pattern of how the greatest artists in the world have suffered the greatest. Looking back at Michael Jacksons’ life, you can clearly see how he suffered tremendously as a child. Instead of falling into booze, tattoos or porn, he channeled all of that energy bubbling inside and around him to become the greatest pop musician of all time.

And you can do the same. Don’t let the world destroy you. Take all of that energy with open arms. Welcome it all, thank the universe for it. Once that’s done, do everything in your power to channel all of that energy into achieving what ever it is you want to achieve. Use that energy to create powerful art that originates from the depth of your soul.

You’re at your most creative when you’re filled with energy that you just have to let out one way or another. Instead of letting it out on a couple bottles of Jack, instead of snorting the energy away with some becky, instead of shooting the energy out of your nuts, use it to create masterpieces. Use it to go to the depths of your soul and come back with exquisite art. Use it to create not destroy yourself.

And with that, I’ll catch ya later.
Until next time
Your man
